Mick's Uncle Chad invited Mick and I to an amazing, once in a lifetime trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. So, we of course took him up on his generous offer. Chad not only let us stay at his house...he was our translator, our tour guide, our brave leader on our exciting adventures - the trip would not have been the same without him. It was AMAZING!

so there was a lot of hiking up and down this hill (you'd think I'd be in better shape because of it).
Below is a slide show of Chad's place. Everything was OPEN - there are no side walls to his house. He has finished the remodel on the main floor and is hoping to finish the rest sometime. I spent a lot of time on his "deck" in the white chairs looking out at the ocean and reading. I truly feel like we experienced MEXICO while we were there.

Ok, so first, I will say what I am supposed to say....Wow! Jodi! That looks so awesome, I am so glad you got to go on such a fun trip!! Now, I am going to tell you what the devil on my shoulder keeps telling me. I am BEYOND jealous, that looks so beautiful, and relaxing, and yeah, I hate you for it.

Ashley, there is no door on that bathroom OR wall to the shower. After the first day or so we jimmy-rigged a curtain so I didn't have to announce to Chad everytime I had to "go" or wait for him to nap or something to shower. :) And we were there and left before Kim and Stan. Chad's been busy hosting.
Kim, I totally want to go with a group of girls...we just need to figure a good time for everyone! :)
Oh, and Rachael, you're hilarious!! I'll be posting more soon. I'm taking a quick break and trying to catch up on reading everyone elses blogs.
I still can't believe you left without me even knowing. We hardly talked at all in Dec. Glad you guys had a great time. I need a vacation too!
