MEXICO Continued - Thurs., Dec. 11 (Day 3)

Thursday morning I was treated to an hour long relaxation massage on the beach. The boys were feeling guilty for leaving me stranded so long the day before and thought I'd like one while they played tennis again. Let me tell you, it was wonderful! It was my first massage and I LOVED it. I thought it was a great experience hearing actual ocean waves while being massaged. I asked the masseuse if anyone has ever told her they loved her after one of her massages. It was that awesome.

Here's a picture of Chad during tennis lessons...

Here's a picture of Mick during tennis lessons...Check out his reach... After Mick and Chad finished their lesson, we watched some of the National Tennis Tournament that was being hosted at this resort. It was a lot of fun to watch and the players were cute too. ;)

On the way back to Chad's, we picked up a chocolate cake from a local bakery and enjoyed the cooking of Chad's good friend and neighbor Ricardo. He's Columbian and made us a delicious Columbian meal. Ricardo was a wonderful host to us a couple of times on our trip. He's a very generous and kind man.

After we finished dinner, we decided to go downtown into Puerto Vallarta for their Guadalupe Procession. Every night a different "city" has a procession to represent "their" Guadalupe and Thursday was Puerto Vallarta's night to present.

Look at how crowded the streets were... This is a picture of Chad's neighbor's daughter. Everyone dresses up for the Guadalupe Procession in Puerto Vallarta. This is a picture of a boy that was in the procession. Isn't he cute? This is a picture of Mick, Me, Ricardo, and Beatrice (Chad's friends and neighbors) participating in the Guadalupe Procession for Puerto Vallarta.

More to come... :)

I can't think too much about your oceanside massage, its too much jealousy for me to handle.
But I'm glad you got to have such an amazing experience!

Yeah, that massage sounds like it was heaven. How fun to have it on the beach. What a dream. I need one today bad! How fun that you were able to have some real experiences in Mexico. It's better to go in all the non-touristy places. I can't wait to hear more.
