I just have to say I LOVE having a houseful of boys! Yesterday at church a member of our Bishopric came over to greet us and he said, "Hello Brother McDonald, Brother McDonald, Brother McDonald, man this is easy...Brother McDonald, Brother McDonald and Sister McDonald." I was just imagining how powerful it will be when they all have the priesthood dressed in their white shirts and ties. I can't wait to be surrounded by them all. I wonder if they'll still fight to be the one sitting next to me or on my lap or holding my hand.I SURE HOPE SO!

Beautiful picture of your family and of you especially.
I love that you are a mother of boys too, because you are so good with them. They will rise up and call you blessed.
You will love that much Priesthood around you too. You will be so blessed as well. Great post.
What a handsome group of guys! Great picture of all of you. Your houseful of boys seems like so much fun. I have to say though, your boys really don't look like each other--they're all unique! It will be great to have all that priesthood around, and someday you will have some great daughters-in-law I'm sure. Start saving up for those missions!
I love this family picture. It's my favorite. You all look so great. You are lucky to have so many boys in your life. I hope the same thing when Tyler & Porter get older. This was a great post Jodi!
What a houseful of handsome boys. I think it would be pretty neat to be the only girl. You must have one nice quiet evening the night of Fathers and sons campout.
I loved this post. The thought of all of them grown up passing the sacrament in their white shirts just warmed my heart. And your bishop's comment was so awesome. I love him.
Very cool. Such handsome boys!
My boys love me and take such good care of me you are lucky to have so many! Mother/son bonds are so awesome! What are your big plans for friday night?
Love this post Jodi! Your boys are all gorgeous!
Thanks everyone for thinking my boys are handsome - I know I do. And it's funny that you say they all look different Emily, I totally agree, but you'd be surprised at how many people say they look exactly alike and just like their Dad. Reminds me of Amy's post. Everyone has their own opinion. And Debbie, my big plans for Friday night is packing for our week long vacation. I so look forward to Father/sons (is that horrible of me?), but we're going to miss it for the second year in a row. I told Mick he'll just have to take them on his own.
AFter Anderson and Cayden I remember thinking that I would be totally cool with a house of all boys. I am really impressed with how well behaved your bench is at church. I will pray for you to have all wonderful, loving daughter-in-laws!
That is a cute family picture. Hey, now you have found our blog stay tunned for an upcoming giveaway.

Ah...I love your housefull of boys too! You really do have the cutest family Spodie! I just want to lay a smooch on the cheek of all your future little priesthood leaders. I really wish we lived closer so we could hang more. Well chat atcha later. P.S. That BBQ place sounds super yummy.
I LOVE BOYS! I hope I have a big family of energetic boys like you. What will I do if I get a picky girl?!!
ah ha! Funny you mention your boys like to sit on your lap, I've figured out that Bennett is happier on my lap during primary than sitting on those chairs. He actually helps me put my arms around him, what a sweety!
Awwww Sonja - that makes me feel good. He LOVES sitting on laps and I'm so happy that he feels comfortable with you that he'll help you put your arms around him. It always cracks me up.
You have a beautiful family! And a beautiful blog!
