Our first day's work...
Today we finished the dining room and moved into the kitchen a little bit. (I can see that tearing up the linolium and boards in the kitchen is going to be a pain!)
Jake took a picture of me cutting the planks to the right size. We're hoping with me doing the cutting and Mick doing the snapping together we'll get rolling along fast.
We moved all the furniture into the completed room and plan on starting the living room tomorrow.
It should go pretty fast.
It's actually kind of "fun" except for the MESS and moving furniture around.

Thats so exciting! And I love that you're doing the cutting, I would so not be brave enough. I really want to come see your house sometime! And I keep forgetting to call you about that store you mentioned. Maybe tomorrow I'll remember during proper calling hours!

We brought home our boxes and boxes of flooring today from Costco. Had to go get them before the coupon expired. Your dining room looks awesome. I love the antique hickory.
It looks awesome! I definitely love the darker wood over our light. You're going to love it when it's done. There's something satisfying about doing it yourself too.
