In noticing Jake (8) had the letters "P-I-M-P" written on his knuckles...
Me in a shocked voice: Do you know what that means?
Jake: No.
Me: Why are you writing words you don't know on your hand?
Mick: Where did you hear that word?
Jake looking totally confused and innocent: The P is for pinkie, the I is for index, M is for middle, and P for pointer.

Bennett said, "Mom, life is good."

Bennett told his 5 year old girlfriend, "Cheese makes me toot."

Bennett and Kyle received "Honesty" awards at their school assembly.
Me: "Why do you think that?"

Yeah, how are you knees this afternoon? Have you pulled all of the staples out yet?? Hopefully you are making some good progress while the kids are gone at school!

Oh...but it will be soooooo worth it! You can do it. Have the boys pull out their copy of The Little Engine that could and read it to you over and over and over.
You can do it! I love hardwood floors and your wall color with your flooring will look beautiful.
