With Mother's Day and my Mom's birthday approaching - I've been thinking about all she does for me and my family.

Something my Mom loves to do is take the Grandkids on hikes in the Zintel Canyon behind their house. Their favorite thing to do is swing on a rope swing they found there. These pictures are from last year - and as you'll see, my Mom loves taking pictures too. Here's Davis on the swing...

I know my kids LOVE when Grandma takes them on these adventures and I'm so happy she remembers to take her camera so I can see all the fun they have together (and I love the natural backdrops and props).

How fun that they get to do that with thier Grandma. Thanks for reminding me about that place. Everytime we drive by there on the way to my parents they say mom please can we go there someday. It looks like fun.

That place is the best. I was just "going on a lion hunt" down there last week with my kids and the whole time I was wishing that they could spend their summers in the canyon like I did growing up. I'd say you and I had a pretty easy going childhood:)
