I can't believe my (first) "baby" is 11-years old. They seriously grow up way too fast.
At least he still has those squishy cheeks. ;)
For his birthday, he invited some friends over for a party and they had a great time. 
They played some games outside and just had fun hanging out.

The day after his birthday, I took Davis to Spokane for the post-op appointment with the surgeon. The surgeon cleaned out the rest of the packing and dry blood and said everything looks great. Davis was glad that we scheduled the appointment after his birthday because it was a little painful for him. The surgeon also said he likes to wait until two months after surgery to do a hearing test. So, it looks like we have one more trip. He did do the metal vibrating thingy (I don't know the technical term) and held it to his head and outside of his ear to see which he could hear louder. And this time he could hear it better outside of his ear. That means he's hearing through his ear now. YAY!

I am so jealous about your lawn!!! I am crazy about our lawn but John does the fertilizing and it didn't get done in the fall like it usually does! I don't like yellow grass in EAster pictures! LUcky lucky you.

So glad to hear that all went well with the post op surgery for Davis' ear. How exciting for him. His birthday party looks like it was fun for all of those boys.
So glad to hear things are going well with Davis. Coop's got pink eye in both eyes right now, but why don't we try to get together next weekend?
