QUAIL, QUAIL everywhere there's QUAIL

We looked out into our backyard tonight
and discovered this wonderfully amazing sight...
I couldn't figure out my camera fast enough (they move so quick),
so sorry the pictures are blurry, but you get the jist.
Can you find them in the rock?? How many can you count??
Let's see who can get the closest to my amount...
Here's half the quail walking right by me...
Right before they decided to flee.
We're hoping they have a nest(s) in our trees. It really was cool to see. I don't know that I've every seen a group that big before. I'm just sad I didn't get a picture of ALL of them TOGETHER to share. I need some camera lessons Amy, Kim, anyone!!

Wow. That's crazy! I tried to count the ones in the rocks but my head is hurting too bad. A few times we've gotten a ton of crow(s?) in our backyard, and it kind of freaked me out. Like that movie, The Birds. I've never seen it, but that's how I imagine it.

I love quails. I think they are so cute. They must really love you Jodi. We don't have many hanging around here like that. We use to feed them at our first newlywed place. We loved watching them take care of their little families. So cute. You got some great shots of them.

I love baby quail. We have a lot running around in our fields. So me and my dad sometimes get some eggs or get some and we raise them and then let them go when they are ready. Its really fun.
Bye bye.♥☺♥

I love quail families. My parents have quite a few in their yard too and it is so neat to watch them raise their tiny chicks and to watch them remain as a family unit.

I think that there are about 10 quail in the rocks. That's a ton of birds in your yard. You must have some good worms in your grass.

Uhhhh I think I see a turtle in the rocks! Your quail should stay if the magpie keep away!
