Mick was in a two-man golf tournament this last weekend at Columbia Point and came in FIRST place (won $100)!! He also won two KPs (closest to the pin). I guess golf is paying off...now he'll think I'll "let" him go all the time. I guess I need to practice on my "game" so we can enjoy golf together. Because him going all the time alone -- I'm not enjoying so much. But I am very proud of how good he is!! Great job Mick!! I'm ready for lessons.

Impressive Nick. I could use a 100 dollars by the way. Way to go. I think you need to golf too Jodi, you would be a cute par. Oops, I mean pair.
WOW! He got first place? That's so cool! Jan, you are hilarious. I love all of your comments! :) Yeah, I'm ready for some lessons too! Great job Mick!
I don't want Mick to get a big head, so I'll take him on. My favorite course is by the cable bridge.
You are soooo funny Jan! :) And I have to agree with you "rip" about the course by the cable bridge - I need to expand from that though if I want to spend time with Mick though.
Hey Congrats Mick...I knew you were special! :) I know what you mean about practicing your game Jodi, as soon as this baby is born I want to get into it again. I had Darren make me some clubs when I lived in Utah...and they have driving ranges on base, so I told Matt that we are going to have to take advantage of that.
I need some good clubs. I'm using some "old lady" clubs that Mick and I bought at a yard sale for $25ten years ago. It's hard to justify spending a lot of money for the one tournament a year I play with him. But he claims I would do a lot better with the right clubs...so it looks like an easy decision to me if he wants to keep winning. :)
That's pretty neat! And it's funny you mention it's his other love - I think everyone has one :) So let's hear it - what's your other love?
Sonja - I guess I'd have to say going to yard sales and thrift stores - making a great find and turning it into something wonderful!
